We lost a great artist...

Dear friends:

A beautiful sheet music wreath, with 32 Hits From
Broadway, like "Baby is cold outside", "In My Arms" and more.  I just made this huge wreath, it measures 25" in diameter.  It has over 200 pages, just something for a music room, living room or bedroom.
The book is old and I still have lots of pages left.

The world lost a great artist, Whitney Houston, an incredible singer, we pray for her daughter and family.  A real tragedy, listen to some of my favorite
songs on my playlist,

Have a great day

Happy Valentines

Happy Valentines to all my friends.
I wish you a great day full of love.

Now for some inspiration:
Let's decorate our home for the celebration, I love the holiday. I already made a lot of handmade cards with my friends at "art class" last month. We used "Martha" border cutters.  It was a challenge, not easy.
I will post some pictures of my handmade cards. Of course, I made lots of pretty tags for gifts, hearts, cupids, french words, and just I love you,

I made lots more buy they will go on another post.

Collecting salvage

Hello friends:

Our shop is closed for a little vacation, it has been a very busy winter. It will open soon, I promise, with new salvage pieces and new recipes.

Collecting salvage is so much fun, the challenge of making something beautiful and useful again. I love
what people discard because they can't use it anymore, or is broken, shabby, rusty, ugly, in my head it can become a useful piece, just a coat of paint,
a pair of pliers or a hammer and nails, you know what I mean.  Everything has a purpose, don't buy new, just restore it. Start with a small project, and I promise you, collecting salvage pieces and items will be your new hobby.

cool salvage serving piece .  Love the idea:  Serve your pop corn, fruit, cheese, on a n old piece of salvage wood, instead of NEW CHINA!!!!!

this is great in front of the ugly window scene, hide the next door apartment
with a stack of vintage crates, bottles, and architectural pieces, love these

The best apple crates or cranberry crates super organization, lots of room.
You need room for all your treasures, life is family, friends, and salvage
treasures!!!!!

Romantic Rachel Ashwell love the cozy corner, invites reading,
sipping hot tea, listening to music, watching the football in the winter, and more....

Get up and get some salvage treasures,

Everything Shabby

Hello friends:

Thank you for all your comments, love love love
what you have to say back, and I try to answer all questions.

Sometimes I think a day should have 30 hours not 24, since time goes so fast.

For today I found our lovely inspiration:

Look at these doors?????

Love the doors, a lot of work went into making these doors so shabby.

From Modern Country  A great book !!!

happy weekend,
