Spring inspiration feeling blue, really!

I love this color, I found this turquoise coral and I made the vignette in my living room. Isn't this just lovely, the book is a little french book titled Servante Du Notaire. I don't know french but I love the cover (again the pretty blue).  Not a good day here, the skies are grey and its raining. Thank God I found my blog friends, such an encouraging community of crafty loving people who give you encouragement when you are feeling blue,how do you battle when you feel blue?? Please comment. I usually do a craft, like this morning, I put together the vignette, please comment.

I found a new paint, mini tutorial

I am in love with this paint. I'm not an expert at painting furniture, however, I'm trying this new hobby.  I painted this frame, then, I distressed it by hand, (I need the little cute sander...birthday??)
anyway, after the "distressing"  I rubbed ( with a lot of fear) a little light wax, I waited and then, buffed it.
Let me know what you think, I like it for my first attempt, do you???
