I made two chalkboards, I had these two frames for a long time, and, I painted one with Louis Blue, distressed it, then apply the clear wax from Annie's and the dark wax, the frame had gold underneath, so it came through.
The other chalkboard with SW white, I'm waiting for a new order of Annie's paint. This frame is so old that some of the gesso was missing, but I like it, I put some new wire on the back, ribbon for hanging, (I love ribbon) then, I put all new clips with screws. I used the new Chalk markers, they are fun. I did three coats of chalkboard paint, then cured the paint for unlimited used.
Hope you like them.!! I'm keeping both, one is in my kitchen, the other one on my entrance porch.
I also gave a last coat to the printer's letter cabinet. This took a lot of work because of the little cubbies. I like it to display all my little things, I'm sure all of you have a lot of "little things", collections, and I'm making another one for jewelry.
Thank you for visiting my blog, stay a while, see you tomorrow,
