Happy New Year 2011

I cann't believe it its January already. I apologize for not writing, but we will start again,

I talked today to Marion from Mustard Seed Creation, what a talented girl, love her stuff, she does beautiful work.  Her blog is very inspiring, I'm going to try to paint one of the signs, they look so nice. I'm not a painter, but she has great tutorials.

In the meantime, I'm wishing you all the best of health, with love,

Kate

New item featured in Treasure on etsy

I cann't believe it , my humble forks featured on a Treasure in Etsy today.
I finally made the candles, I almost burned my fingers, it took a long time to make it, but it was a lot of fun. I  have never done it before so I wasted three candles, they were used and ready to throw away, you have to practice these crafts sometimes, I'll try to do a tutorial later.

Here they are   They all match, they were my grandma's.  Anyway, I'll show the candles tomorow.

Love,

Kate

I made the cute tag with a velvet ribbon, and a set of six french writing print?? Leave me a comment please

Very French!!! a set of french writing on pins, with a beautiful little white tag with black velvet ribbon,  Use them for a decoration on a gift, attached a picture to a lamp shade, or make a garland of your favorite pictures, postcards, etc etc.   These clothespins have so many uses, I use them in my office, at school, everywhere. Hope you like them.  Please leave me a comment, thanks
Kate

set of four pillar candles decorated with old sheet music, burlap and darling antique buttons.

I decorated the four candles with old sheet music, old pearl buttons, and of course burlap.  They look very good on crystal candlesticks.
I didn't have all four matching but check them out.  !!!!! I have them on my mantle.  Leave me a comment, I'm thinking of a giveaway, of a set of these, what do you think??

new finds and a handmade item!!!

Five beautiful silverplate forks, they all match, which is very hard to find. I love old silver.
